A lot can change in a month: after a lot of great feedback from our play testers about the game warden version, we decided to make a course correction: here come the animals!
After a wildfire had driven them away, lions, crocodiles, giraffes, antelope, elephants, rhinos, vultures, and baboons are all returning to the iUnga Reserve. Players experience life on the savannah with all its ups and downs: predators hunting prey, animals multiplying, rhinos stomping through the bush. Each kind of animal has its own part to play: crocodiles are swimming up the rivers an keeping an eye on innocent animals on the river bank; antelope are seeking out herds of other animals for protection; and wily baboons take any chance to steal food from others.
We are working on refining the characteristics of our animals. We are also trying out how different bonus point options effect the game. But first and foremost, we are having fun!
The first few play-testing sessions with friends have been encouraging!
